Una obra capital para la investigación histórica de la fotografía española: Directorio de fotógrafos en España (1851-1936)
Afirmar que las librerías están llenas de libros es una reiteración; sostener que son pocos los que acabarán en los anaqueles de mi biblioteca es el fruto de la estadística que destila mi experiencia.
He aquí una obra homérica en dos volúmenes que habré de consultar una vez y otra. María José Rodríguez y José Ramón Sanchis han hecho una aportación de las que hacen historia. La diferencia entre un mero censo y una herramienta que dilata el conocimiento radica en el método de la investigación. Es un privilegio recomendar el sólido trabajo de dos compañeros y amigos que han definido una cartografía que es ya una referencia.

Fotoconnexio
Fotoconnexió es una asociación cultural sin ánimo de lucro creada en Barcelona el 6 de octubre de 2011. Su finalidad es la investigación, la conservación y la difusión de la fotografía y el audiovisual en todos sus aspectos, principalmente, en el ámbito catalán.
Los miembros de Fotoconnexió somos profesionales y amateurs que provenimos de diferentes ámbitos, públicos o privados, con el interés común por el estudio de la fotografía y el audiovisual. Las especialidades de los integrantes del grupo son tan variadas como complementarias y las más representadas son las de fotógrafo, archivero, bibliotecario, profesor de Historia del Arte, coleccionista e investigador entre otros.

INCCA-f and Lightcone workshop on film conservation, Paris INCCA-f and Lightcone propose a workshop on November 18 from 2p.m. to 6p.m.
Workshop 1 : Silver emulsion film stock, shooting to possible treatments of the film; creative possibilities and conservation problems
Using the collection of films distributed by Lightcone as a starting point for the presentation of the possibilities afforded to artists in the creation of film work at all levels of the production process (with or without cameras, printing techniques, diverse manipulations, stop motion, perforations and soundtracks, etc.), questions surrounding the problems of the conservation of these complex film objects will be addressed.

During her long and distinguished career in paper conservation, Hanna has gathered extensive knowledge on the bio-deterioration of paper artifacts, and lectured as well as published widely on the topic nationally and internationally.

Her research involves:
- fungi as living organisms and their dependence on the environment in relation to library and museum collections;
- prevention and eradication of fungal outbreaks;
- specific signs of fungal infestations and their impact on artifacts;
- observing fungal specimens under a microscope and learning how to identify typical features, as well as growing fungi; and
- health hazards and prevention and reduction of fungi grow in cellulosic materials, leather, parchment, plastics and others.
